Units of Application (UoAs)

2010 Round 2

There will be eight deaneries participating in the second round of recruitment to 2010 CMT CT1 posts, listed below:

Seven deaneries/UoAs either have already filled their vacant 2010 CMT CT1 posts in Round 1, or will shortly have filled them, and hence will not be taking part in Round 2:

For more information on any of these, including some background on the regions, schemes available, further contact details etc, please click on the name of the relevant UoA.

Selecting a UoA

There are many things to take into account when selecting which UoAs to specify on your application. Factors to consider include:

Historical Competitions Ratios - 2009

Please use the below information for guidance only - there is no guarantee that application patterns or numbers of posts available, will be similar in 2010.

We advise applicants to examine historical competition ratios so as to assess the likelihood of being granted an interview in the deanery they will select as first choice. It is unlikely that the most competitive deaneries will be able to interview all applicants. The weakest applications will be cascaded to the next choice deanery with available interview capacity.

In the event of total CMT CT1 application numbers exceeding the total CMT CT1 interview capacity in England & Wales, some applicants may not be offered any interview in Round 1. Please be aware that further opportunities will be available in Round 2:

Non-coordinated UoAs

At the current time, the co-ordinated CMT recruitment project does not include all UK units of application, and thus we cannot provide information on those UoAs outside of our scheme. However, for more information on those UoAs and how to apply to them, please follow the links and information below:
