Information for Round 2 candidates
26-Apr-2010Now that the CMT R2 application period has closed, deaneries/UoAs are checking your eligibility to be considered for CMT. This process will be completed on, or possible before, Friday 30 April.
By then, you will have received an email confirming whether or not you are eligible for further consideration. If the deanery assessing your application has any doubts about your eligibility, they will contact you to request further information; it is important that you respond to any such requests as soon as possible.
Once long-listing - ie verifying eligibility - has been completed, the RCP-SRO will run an algorithm which will sort candidates into the deaneries/UoAs which will invite them to interview; this will be determined by your deanery preferences and the short-listing score derived from your application.
It is likely that some candidates will not be invited to interview by their first-choice deanery; also, it is possible that some candidates will not receive any interview at all. Any candidates in this position will be contacted via email with further information.
Invites to interview will commence from Friday 7 May. If you have not received an invitation to interview, or been made aware of the status of your application, by Friday 14 May, you should contact the CMT helpdesk (via email at cmtrecruitment@rcplondon.ac.uk).
